SDA Bocconi School of Management is seeking a Business Development Manager to contribute the development of its Executive Education and Corporate Solutions portfolio.
The ideal candidate will own the full sales cycle end-to-end, from opportunity identification to deal closure, demonstrating a strong commercial mindset, building long-term relationships with corporate partners, acquiring new clients, and contributing to the continuous innovation of the School’s offering.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities into long-term client partnerships
- Design tailored learning solutions and develop high-quality proposals and presentations
- Build and manage relationships with senior corporate stakeholders
- Drive revenue generation, negotiating and closing complex deals
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Faculty, Marketing, Program Offices) to deliver impactful solutions
- Ensure client satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnerships
Qualifications & Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in business development, consulting, or B2B services
- Strong experience in proposal writing and complex solution structuring
- Solid understanding of business and organizational dynamics
- Strong commercial acumen with a demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, develop client relationships, negotiate, and successfully close complex deals
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office
- Fluency in both Italian and English is required; proficiency in additional languages is considered a plus
- Availability to travel
