In this role you lead the design and delivery of Black Utilities systems for large-scale projects, guiding concept through construction. You coordinate multidisciplinary teams, engage with clients and stakeholders, and ensure high-quality, efficient engineering solutions. You mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across the project lifecycle. This position offers international project exposure and a meaningful impact on mission-critical infrastructure within Jacobs’ growth and collaboration-driven culture.
Retribuzione / Benefits
Lead the design and execution of Black Utilities systems (chilled water, hot water, glycol, potable water, steam, compressed air, drainage, sewage)
Perform utilities calculations for generation and distribution networks
Prepare and review technical documentation (specifications, scopes of work, BoQs, P&IDs)
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external consultants across local and international projects
Support procurement through technical evaluations and bid analysis
Collaborate with 3D modeling teams to ensure accurate design integration
Participate in client and stakeholder meetings to build trusted partnerships
Mentor and support junior engineers with technical guidance across the project lifecycle
Responsabilità
Around 10 years of experience in Black Utilities design and engineering
Strong expertise in utilities generation and distribution design
Proven experience leading technical teams on complex projects
Knowledge of PED, ASHRAE, ISO, GMP, and relevant EU directivesExperience in pharmaceutical or data center projects (highly desirable)
Familiarity with BIM and engineering software such as AutoCAD, Plant3D, BIM360, Navisworks, MagiCAD, or similar tools
Fluent English and Italian (minimum B1/B2)
Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
