Overview
In this role, you will lead electrical design and execution for complex projects within Jacobs’ Italy Electrical Department. You will shape power, lighting, life safety, ICT systems, and distribution schemes, coordinating with multiple offices to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery. You’ll supervise engineers, manage schedules and costs, and perform pre-commissioning activities. The position offers hybrid collaboration across locations and impact on mission-critical outcomes in thriving cities and sustainable environments.

Responsabilità
Design power and lighting, earthing and lightning protection
Design life safety and security, ICT systems
Coordinate projects locally and with Jacobs offices
Ensure electrical design integrity and code compliance
Develop electrical specifications and distribution system design
Lead junior engineers and provide technical leadership
Oversee project schedule, progress reports, and change management
Perform pre-commissioning and start-up activities for electrical systems
Requisiti fondamentali
Degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 10 years in specifications, engineering, design, construction and start-up in EPC/EPCM environments
Experience in pharmaceutical, industrial and buildings sectors (asset)
Experience in high, medium and low voltage design and equipment (asset)
Lead or area lead experience on medium to large projects with technical leadership
Availability for business trips
Knowledge of local and international technical codes
Proficiency with Etap, SKM, Neplan (and similar tools)
