Senior financial accountant

Experteer Overview In this role you will own the full General Ledger and monthly closings, ensuring accurate, audit-ready financial records in a dynamic fintech setting. You’ll strengthen accounting processes and internal controls while coordinating with external providers for payroll and audits. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to support VAT and regulatory filings and drive continuous improvement in the accounting function. Retribuzione / Benefits Full General Ledger and subledger ownership with timely postings and reconciliations Oversee accounts payable/receivable ledgers and bank movement reconciliations Prepare and review detailed balance sheet reconciliations Manage fixed assets, capex, and payroll accounting processes Coordinate with external providers on payroll and ensure accurate accruals Support statutory auditors with high-quality documentation Prepare accounting data for VAT and other tax filings Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls Responsabilità At least 5 years of accounting experience in fintech, finance, or corporate services with full closing cycle exposure Solid knowledge of local accounting principles (Italian and/or Luxembourg GAAP); IFRS exposure is a plus Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines Ability to independently manage complex accounting topics and contribute to the Accounting team Experience with structured ERP environments; strong analytical and advanced spreadsheet skills Experience with automation, data tools, or scripting workflows is a plus Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA is a strong plus Fluent in Italian and English Requisiti fondamentali Unlimited paid time off Flexible hybrid working system Extended parental leave Stock Option Plan International relocation support Competitive salary #J-18808-Ljbffr
