Senior Insurance Specialist

Job Purpose

We are looking for a Senior Insurance Specialist to join our IRM team. In this role, you will provide advice and support on all insurance matters. You will manage the renewal of life and non‑life insurance programs for all company divisions, subsidiaries, and associated companies.

Responsibilities

• Lead insurance renewals, prepare documents, collect and check data (revenues, insured values, fleet, headcounts), manage offers, approvals, premiums, and coverage.
• Execute renewals with alignment to global timelines, including exposure collection (headcounts, wages), renewal notifications, and premium invoicing and collection.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of all insurance programs in Italy.
• Support business units with insurance questions and coordinate with global teams.
• Work with Legal, Procurement, Real Estate, HR, and other teams to review insurance requirements in contracts and agreements.
• Organize and support property risk surveys on key company sites.
• Manage employee benefit insurance programs, work with insurers, and ensure smooth claims processing.
• Suggest ways to make insurance processes more efficient and improve satisfaction.

Qualifications

• University degree and/or professional qualification in insurance or business management.
• 10 years of experience in insurance within a global multinational company, broker, or in‑house risk function.
• Comfortable in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments with strict deadlines.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Customer‑focused, able to understand needs and provide solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to convey technical content to non‑technical audiences.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
• Full professional proficiency in English and Italian.
• Strong skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
