Senior Manager, Health & Safety – EMEA - Luxury Accessories Brand

Mode Search are partnering with a global luxury fashion group in their search for a Senior Manager, Health & Safety – EMEA.This is a strategic regional role responsible for leading Health & Safety across multiple markets throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Reporting to the Global Head of Loss Prevention, Security & Safety, the successful candidate will drive the regional Health & Safety strategy, ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and the continued development of a positive safety culture across retail stores, offices and distribution environments.Working closely with senior business leaders and cross-functional teams, this role offers the opportunity to influence business-wide initiatives while leading regional projects across a complex international organisation.The RoleLead the implementation and continuous improvement of the regional Health & Safety Management System, aligned with ISO 45001 standardsDrive Health & Safety strategy across the EMEA region, ensuring compliance with both global policies and local legislationDevelop and manage audit, inspection and compliance programmes across retail stores, offices and distribution centresMonitor legislative changes across multiple countries, implementing policies and procedures where requiredLead incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective action plansProduce regular Health & Safety reporting, KPI analysis and risk updates for senior leadershipPartner with HR and business leaders on wellbeing initiatives, risk assessments and occupational health mattersSupport insurance claims, incident management and liaison with insurers and external stakeholdersWork closely with Store Development, Construction and Facilities teams on new store openings, refurbishments and office projectsIdentify training requirements and support the delivery of Health & Safety training programmes across the regionBuild strong relationships with regulators, consultants and third-party providersManage regional Health & Safety resources and external partners while supporting wider global initiativesRequirementsSignificant Health & Safety experience within a multi-site, international environmentStrong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation across EMEA marketsExperience implementing and managing ISO 45001 Health & Safety Management SystemsChartered IOSH status, or working towards, preferredExperience conducting audits, inspections and implementing corrective action plansStrong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadershipExperience managing external providers, consultants and regulatory bodiesExcellent analytical, reporting and communication skillsExperience within luxury retail, retail, hospitality or a similarly fast-paced consumer environment would be advantageousBased in Milan offices - 3 days a weekThis is an exciting opportunity to join a globally recognised luxury business, leading regional Health & Safety initiatives while shaping best practice across a diverse international operation.Please note: Due to the volume of applications, we are unable to provide individual feedback at this stage.
