We are looking for an Apprentice for the Service Execution Business Unit of Digital Industries in Milan. The apprenticeship is for a duration of 2 years and will train you for the role of Service Project and Contract Manager. During the apprenticeship, you will receive comprehensive, state‑of‑the‑art training designed to develop your personal and professional skills, along with mentor support to help achieve your career steps.
Your Challenge
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and increasing customer intimacy
- Guaranteeing the optimal balance between Quality, Cost, and Time requirements for each assigned project or contract
- Implementing PM@Siemens requirements for project/contract execution
- Effectively managing communication with all stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, team members, and other Siemens organizations (e.g. Finance, Technical Engineers, etc.)
- Ensuring proper identification, mapping and fulfillment of EHS requirements in collaboration with management and the EHS officer
- Monitoring assigned contracts, recommending cost‑effective strategies, preparing and presenting contract status reports
- Ensuring Claim, Change, Risk, and NCC Management throughout the project/contract lifecycle
- Contributing to continuous improvement through feedback, root cause analysis and lessons learned implementation
Required Entry Qualifications
- Under 30 years of age, in accordance with the Italian apprenticeship contract
- ITS Degree or a bachelor’s/master’s degree in automation, electrical or management engineering or a related field
- Proficiency in English and Italian
- Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP
- Knowledge of Project Management requirements considered a plus
- Domestic travel availability (up to 5–10% of working time)
- Team player ability, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a changing environment, to face issues and to prioritize tasks and activities
- Passion to never stop growing
- Proactive mindset with a strong customer service orientation, goal‑driven attitude, and the ability to work with initiative and autonomy
- Effective collaboration in networks across businesses and functions
