About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Security Manager (SSM) to lead the security operations at one of our client datacenters. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing a dedicated team of security professionals, including administrative officers, responders, and control room personnel, while ensuring the highest standards of safety, security, and operational excellence across the site.


Reporting directly to the Campus Security Manager (CSM) and working collaboratively with other Site Security Managers across the campus, the successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, operational expertise, and a proactive approach to risk management and incident response.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop site security personnel, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with all site policies, procedures, and standard operating protocols across all shifts.
  • Oversee site security operations, performance metrics, audits, and the effective operation of all security systems.
  • Manage Security Operations Center (SOC) functions, including CCTV monitoring, access control, incident reporting, and security logs.
  • Maintain accurate security documentation and ensure compliance with client requirements and company standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for datacenter management in the absence of the Campus Security Manager.
  • Identify potential security risks and recommend improvements to strengthen site security and operational resilience.
  • Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and security regulations.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in security management or operational/business management within a security-focused environment.
  • Proven experience leading and managing teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of security technologies, including CCTV, access control systems, incident management platforms, and video surveillance systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with strong general IT skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and respond to emergency situations as required.
