We are currently seeking a Software Manager to join a high-impact, long-term project in critical systems to relocate to Madrid, Spain

🔍 What are we looking for?

• >
  8 years of experience insoftware development (ideally in critical or embedded systems)
• Availability to relocate to Madrid.
• Proven experience leading software development teams
• Strong background in software architecture and system design
• Experience with standards such as DO-178B/C, PECAL 2210 or similar
• Solid understanding of the full software lifecycle (V-Model)
• Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering or related field

💡 Nice to have: C/C++, RTOS, cybersecurity concepts, DOORS/Visure, technical reviews (PDR, CDR, TRR)

🎯 Your mission

As a Software Manager, you will act as the technical reference for software, leading the definition and evolution of system architecture while ensuring quality, traceability and compliance.

• Lead the software development team
• Define and evolve system software architecture
• Drive key technical decisions (frameworks, RTOS, communications, etc.)
• Ensure software quality across design, coding, testing and documentation
• Coordinate with HW, Systems and V&V teams
• Manage the full software lifecycle
• Participate in technical reviews and audits
• Act as technical interface with clients
