Role Overview As Static Equipment Lead Engineer, you will be part of the ENCAR Business line.

Responsibilities Lead and coordinate all engineering activities related to static equipment within the assigned project, ensuring full compliance with technical requirements, project management guidelines, budget constraints, schedule targets, and quality standards. Act as the discipline focal point within the project task force.

Planning Operating Phases

Verify the EMH project budget and confirm alignment with project targets.

Identify contractual criticalities and define the complete scope of engineering activities.

Prepare the discipline deliverable list and map the required engineering resources.

Detect potential schedule issues, assess workload distribution, and plan resource allocation according to the execution strategy.

Evaluate the need for support from other engineering centers or external specialist companies.

Functional Phases & Practices

Check availability and completeness of basic design information required for job start‑up.

Develop the equipment list and assign correct commodity codes to each item.

Define purchase order lots and prepare the RFQ plan.

Establish the basic design philosophies for static equipment.

Execution of the Contract

Prepare technical annexes for subcontracted engineering and coordinate external engineering subcontractors.

Issue engineering specifications and RFQs for static equipment packages.

Coordinate and monitor preparation of technical procurement documentation.

Perform technical bid evaluations and manage vendor documentation follow‑up.

Handle client comments, participate in vendor kick‑off meetings, and support Project Management in technical interfaces with the client.

Support post‑order activities including management of Vendor ITPs, NCRs, and resolution of technical issues.

Qualifications

Education:

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Experience:

Proven experience (at least 5 years) in the same or similar positions with International Main Contracting & Engineering Companies.

Languages:

English (B2/C1).

Technical Skills:

Focus on static equipment (mainly on Columns and Vessels).

IT Skills:

Familiarity with PC software for Office Automation and Software for Mechanical Equipment Design (e.g., PV Elite, Compress, or similar).

Travel:

Willingness to travel abroad based on projects.

For home office contract: Pay not lower than €55,000.
