The company supports major oil and gas projects across the full lifecycle, providing engineering assurance, construction support, quality management, inspection, planning, and risk management services.Position SummaryThe Structural Engineer is responsible for reviewing and consenting to the design and development of offshore structural systems for a fixed wellhead platform. This includes jackets, piles, topsides, and associated appurtenances. The role ensures structural integrity, regulatory compliance, and constructability throughout design, fabrication, and installation phases of the project.General Description of Role and ResponsibilitiesStructural Design and AnalysisReview and consent to structural analysis and design of offshore structures including jackets, piles, conductor guides, topside modules, and equipment support framesReview and consent to designs for boat landings, riser guards, flare booms, and access platformsReview and consent to in place, transportation, load out, and installation analysesReview and consent to structural calculations and modelling performed using SACS, STAAD Pro, SESAM, ANSYS, or equivalent toolsReview and consent to structural connections, welds, and foundations in accordance with applicable standards such as API RP 2A, ISO 19902, and AISCDeliverables and DocumentationReview and consent to detailed design drawings, structural analysis reports, and construction documentationReview and consent to fabrication drawings, material take offs, and structural weight reportsProvide technical input to drafting and modelling teams to support 3D model development and clash resolutionCodes, Standards, and ComplianceEnsure compliance with applicable industry codes and standards including API RP 2A, ISO 19902, AISC, AWS, DNV, ABS, and project specific requirementsVerify structural performance under environmental, functional, and accidental load casesCoordination and Technical ReviewsInterface with piping, mechanical, electrical, geotechnical, and naval disciplines to resolve design interfacesParticipate in design reviews, HAZIDs, constructability reviews, and 3D model reviewsReview and respond to technical queries, vendor documentation, and client commentsFabrication and Installation SupportProvide engineering support during fabrication, load out, and offshore installation as requiredReview fabrication drawings and support site query resolution during yard executionQualifications, Experience, Knowledge, and SkillsBachelor of Science degree in Structural Engineering from an accredited universityMinimum of eight years’ relevant post graduate experience within the disciplineStrong written and spoken English, with proven ability to prepare technical specifications and reportsProficiency in offshore structural analysis software including SACS, STAAD Pro, SESAM, and ANSYSSolid understanding of offshore structural design principles, fatigue assessment, and dynamic loadingKnowledge of fabrication, welding, lifting, and installation constraintsStrong documentation, reporting, and interdisciplinary coordination skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
