OverviewAbly Resources is supporting a major international energy project with the appointment of an experienced Telecom Engineer to join its team in Milan, Italy.This is a key engineering role supporting telecoms and communications scope across a complex offshore development. The successful candidate will be involved in design review, technical coordination, vendor package review, installation support, testing and commissioning activities.ResponsibilitiesReviewing telecom engineering deliverables and technical documentationSupporting systems including PA/GA, CCTV, fibre optics, structured cabling, telephony and radio communicationsCoordinating telecom interfaces with other engineering disciplinesSupporting installation, testing, integration and commissioning activitiesWorking with contractors, vendors and project stakeholders to maintain technical quality and delivery alignmentCandidate profileDegree-qualified in Telecommunications, Electrical, Electronic or related Engineering discipline10+ years’ experience in telecom engineering within oil & gas, offshore, EPC or major energy projectsStrong experience with offshore or industrial telecom systemsExperience reviewing vendor packages and engineering specificationsFAT/SAT, testing and commissioning exposure is desirableFluent written and spoken EnglishLocationThe role is based in Milan and offers the opportunity to join a major long-term energy development.NotesPlease note: due to project requirements and mobilisation considerations, preference will be given to candidates currently based in Europe or with existing right to work in Italy.ApplicationFor a confidential discussion, please send your CV to: #J-18808-Ljbffr
