Job Purpose

The Accounts Receivable Intern will support the AR team in managing customer receivables, ensuring timely cash collection, accurate reconciliations, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. The role provides hands‑on experience in finance and accounting processes within a multinational logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Support daily cash application activities, ensuring accurate allocation of incoming payments.
• Assist with customer account reconciliations and identify discrepancies.
• Help monitor outstanding balances and prepare customer statements.
• Contribute to the follow-up of overdue invoices, including email reminders.
• Assist in maintaining updated and accurate customer master data.
• Collaborate with internal departments (Operations, Sales, Credit Management) to resolve invoice or payment issues.
• Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives within the AR team.
