STRIVE has partnered with a high-growth, multinational organization to appoint a Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). The client is looking for a senior finance leader who will play a critical role in shaping financial strategy, driving performance, and transforming the FP&A function into a modern, insight-driven capability. Reporting directly to the CFO, this individual will act as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, providing forward-looking insights and enabling data-driven decision-making across the business.The Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis will lead a global FP&A function, overseeing all aspects of financial planning, forecasting, and performance management. This role will be instrumental in driving transformation initiatives, including the implementation of advanced analytics, automation, and AI-enabled tools to enhance forecasting accuracy and business insight.This is a highly strategic role, acting as a key partner to the executive leadership team. The VP, FP&A will provide forward-looking insights to shape critical business decisions, influence strategic direction, and support enterprise-wide initiatives, while also partnering closely with functional leaders across the organization to drive performance and accountability.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Financial Leadership
Lead global FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planningPartner with the CFO and executive team to support strategic decision‑making and enterprise performanceProvide actionable insights to drive growth, profitability, and capital allocationFP&A Transformation & Modernization
Drive the transformation of FP&A into a forward‑looking, insight‑driven functionImplement AI‑enabled tools, automation, and advanced analytics to improve forecasting and reportingBusiness Partnering & Executive Support
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership across finance and non‑finance functionsSupport M&A activity through financial modeling, scenario analysis, and due diligenceDeliver high‑quality insights and reporting to executive leadership and stakeholdersOperational Excellence
Enhance financial planning processes, improving speed, accuracy, and scalabilityEstablish consistent frameworks for performance measurement and reporting across the organizationLead scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to inform strategic decisionsLead and develop a high‑performing FP&A teamFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvementBuild a scalable and future‑ready FP&A functionSKILLS & EXPERIENCE
15+ years of progressive experience in FP&A and corporate financeProven experience operating as a VP or Head of FP&A within a large, complex, multinational organizationTrack record of leading and developing high‑performing teamsDemonstrated success transforming FP&A functions, with a focus on AI, automation, and modern planning toolsExperience implementing advanced planning processesStrong business partnering experience with executive leadership teamsProven involvement in M&A transactions, including financial modeling and strategic analysisExceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skillsQualifications
