THE ROLE

STRIVE has partnered with a high-growth, multinational organization to appoint a Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). The client is looking for a senior finance leader who will play a critical role in shaping financial strategy, driving performance, and transforming the FP&A function into a modern, insight-driven capability. Reporting directly to the CFO, this individual will act as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, providing forward-looking insights and enabling data-driven decision-making across the business.

The Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis will lead a global FP&A function, overseeing all aspects of financial planning, forecasting, and performance management. This role will be instrumental in driving transformation initiatives, including the implementation of advanced analytics, automation, and AI-enabled tools to enhance forecasting accuracy and business insight.

This is a highly strategic role, acting as a key partner to the executive leadership team. The VP, FP&A will provide forward-looking insights to shape critical business decisions, influence strategic direction, and support enterprise-wide initiatives, while also partnering closely with functional leaders across the organization to drive performance and accountability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Financial Leadership

- Lead global FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning - Partner with the CFO and executive team to support strategic decision‑making and enterprise performance - Provide actionable insights to drive growth, profitability, and capital allocation

FP&A Transformation & Modernization

- Drive the transformation of FP&A into a forward‑looking, insight‑driven function - Implement AI‑enabled tools, automation, and advanced analytics to improve forecasting and reporting

Business Partnering & Executive Support

- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership across finance and non‑finance functions - Support M&A activity through financial modeling, scenario analysis, and due diligence - Deliver high‑quality insights and reporting to executive leadership and stakeholders

Operational Excellence

- Enhance financial planning processes, improving speed, accuracy, and scalability - Establish consistent frameworks for performance measurement and reporting across the organization - Lead scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to inform strategic decisions - Lead and develop a high‑performing FP&A team - Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement - Build a scalable and future‑ready FP&A function

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- 15+ years of progressive experience in FP&A and corporate finance - Proven experience operating as a VP or Head of FP&A within a large, complex, multinational organization - Track record of leading and developing high‑performing teams - Demonstrated success transforming FP&A functions, with a focus on AI, automation, and modern planning tools - Experience implementing advanced planning processes - Strong business partnering experience with executive leadership teams - Proven involvement in M&A transactions, including financial modeling and strategic analysis - Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills

Qualifications

- MBA, Chartered Accountant - Advanced expertise in financial modeling, planning tools, and data analytics platforms
