Geospatial Software Program Manager

In this role you guide complex geospatial software programs that span surveying, GNSS, cloud platforms and hardware. You will collaborate with Product, Software, Firmware, QA, UX and business teams to translate needs into successful delivery. Expect leadership of international initiatives, risk management and ongoing governance to accelerate modernization of geospatial workflows. You’ll work across global teams to shape scalable software programs with a strong impact on outcomes. Variable bonus linked to individual and company performance Flexible remote or hybrid working arrangements Continuous learning opportunities Collaboration on global projects Lead end-to-end software programs with defined scope, milestones, schedules, deliverables and success criteria Drive release planning and execution to meet priorities and commitments Coordinate parallel workstreams across software, firmware, cloud, QA, UX and engineering teams Manage dependencies across geospatial apps, GNSS technologies, cloud platforms and hardware Identify risks, issues and resource constraints; implement mitigation and contingency plans Lead program reviews, executive updates and critical issue escalations Align globally distributed teams and influence stakeholders without direct authority Strengthen Agile practices, governance, delivery predictability and continuous improvement Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Geomatics, Geodesy, GIS, Surveying or related discipline At least 7 years in technical project or program management, with 3+ years leading cross-functional software programs Experience managing large-scale software programs in multinational engineering organizations Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile or Scrum, software architecture and modern development practices Experience with cloud-based platforms and tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps or equivalent Ability to coordinate complex software ecosystems with multiple products and dependencies Professional working English at intermediate level or above Desirable: experience in geospatial, GIS, surveying, construction tech, GNSS industries; PMP/PRINCE2/PMI-ACP/CSM/SAFe or cloud/geospatial certifications Cross-functional collaboration Stakeholder influence without direct authority Program governance and leadership Agile or Scrum methodologies Software architecture
