WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

At our Modena plant, production continuity depends on one key fa

ctor: having the right materials, at the right time

. As a Material Planning Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring this happens every day — balancing supplier performance, production needs, and inventory efficiency in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

If you enjoy solving complex operational challenges and working close to production, this role

offers direct visibility on results and real business impact.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Ensure material availability in line with production schedules; Monitor supplier deliveries and proactively manage delays or risks; Act as a key point of contact between suppliers, production, and internal stakeholders; Prevent and manage critical shortages, ensuring quick resolution; Maintain high inventory accuracy and consistency between systems and physical stock; Lead and coordinate material planning activities and team priorities; Drive continuous improvement initiatives on logistics flows and planning processes

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Economics

, or similar; At least 10 years

of experience (of which at least 3–5 years of experience in material planning, logistics, or supply chain roles); Experience in a manufacturing / plant environment

with direct impact on production; Previous expe

rience in the automotive sector or complex industrial

environments; Solid

knowledge of M

RP/ERP systems (SAP or similar); Good und

erstanding of inventory management and production plan

ning dynamics; Prov

en ability to manage complex priorities and time-critical situations; Fluen

OFFER

Salary range

: from 43.000€ to 55.000€, that will be defined depending on the level of adherence of the candidate to the job requirements. Collective Agreement

: In accordance with the provisions of the Specific Collective Labour Agreement (CCSL – CNEL code: CO10), and in particular with regard to the classification within the third professional area.
