Mold Engineer - Modena, Emilia-Romagna, Italy

The selected Candidate will oversee the entire lifecycle of injection molds, from initial design review to production maintenance. In specific, He / She will be responsible for the following activities: Lead 2D/3D design reviews, analyzing mold kinematics, cooling layouts, venting, and rheological simulation data (Moldflow) to optimize tool feasibility and quality; Act as the primary technical liaison for external tool shops, managing supplier qualification, technical specifications, procurement timelines, and overall deliverables; Spearhead mold trials (from T0 to production readiness) and collaborate closely with the Quality and Validation Departments to support IQ/OQ/PQ protocol execution; Diagnose mechanical mold defects, component wear, or structural issues, driving swift corrective actions with internal Technical team; Define and standardise preventive and predictive mold maintenance programs, supervising internal tool shop operations or external service partners; Manage mold modifications and engineering changes, while alignment and mentoring junior Project Engineers on tooling standards.
