Segula Technologies is looking for one Project Leader with expertise in hydraulic product development to join our team and support an important client. The candidate will perform the following activities: The candidate, reporting to the Powertrain Hydraulic manager, will coordinate engineers and resources to ensure the development of new technologies and/or systems on vehicles by achieving quality, product cost targets and time plan.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure deliverables according to planning (DFMEA, Technical Design Reviews, drawings and bill of material release) in line with Engineering KPIs (time for development, project expense, etc.)
  • Identify the best technical, economical and manufacturing solutions for Hydraulic components and systems applied to driveline, working with other team and stakeholders including Purchasing, Manufacturing, Testing, and others
  • Ensure integration of systems or subsystem or component, in line with quality, costs and performance targets.
  • Coordinate Co‑design activities with assigned suppliers, for systems, sub/systems or components in line with performance requirements.
  • Provide and maintain documentation of the project status and support Hydraulic Powertrain team at main project milestones.
  • Contribute to the definition of the Product Validation plan.
  • Identify design solution for manufacturing process improvements.
  • Incorporate engineering standards, methodologies and global product development processes into daily work tasks.

Qualifications

  • Mechanical Engineering degree with emphasis in automotive.
  • Previous Project management experience in a consolidated organization, automotive preferred.
  • Frequent verbal and written communication with co‑workers, exchanging information and supporting them to achieve goals.
  • Proactiveness and accountability.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work with tight deadlines and under pressure.
  • Problem solving ability and working to targets is essential.
  • Advanced knowledge of English and Italian (written and spoken).
