Your role As AI‑Enabled Digital Operational Excellence Consultant, you will play a key role in shaping our clients’ operational strategy and transforming their production systems. You will design lead projects and deliver programs across production, supply chain, and industrial digitalization, working closely with C‑level executives to build scalable, future‑proof operational capabilities and sustainable solutions.

Key responsibilities

Leading interdisciplinary and international teams on client engagements linking operational improvements to the client’s strategic goals and driving change through the implementation of measurable outcomes

Analyze and redesign production and logistics processes (e.g., value stream mapping, layout optimization, flow design)

Define and implement operations strategies at both corporate and plant levels

Design and deploy Smart Factory roadmaps (Industry 4.0)

Development of scalable and resilient operating models — including production network design, make‑or‑buy strategies, and industrial footprint optimization

Support cultural and organizational transformation in operations

Your profile

You hold a degree in engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Automation, or related fields) or an equivalent qualification. A PhD or an MBA are considered a strong plus

You have 4+ years of experience in production management within multinational companies, preferably in the industrial goods or consumer goods sectors

Extensive experience in optimizing production processes, combined with knowledge and hands‑on experience in key enabling technologies: Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Big Data & Analytics, Augmented and Virtual Reality, Digital Twin Technology

Experience in operations strategy and industrial network optimization

You have direct experience in managing teams and resources

You possess excellent presentation and communication skills

You demonstrate strategic thinking, an entrepreneurial mindset, and enthusiasm for driving change

Excellent command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Copilot and AI‑powered productivity tools, including the creation and use of AI agents, is considered a strong plus

Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

You are fluent in both Italian and English. Knowledge of German is a plus

You are eager to travel and embrace new challenges

This role requires full availability to travel (up to 80% of your working time will be spent at client sites in Italy and abroad (EU and extra EU).
