We’re looking for a Construction Director to lead and oversee construction activities across multiple countries, ensuring excellence in delivery, cost efficiency, safety, and quality. You will lead local Heads of Construction, aligning execution with group strategy while driving best practices and continuous improvement across our international portfolio.

Responsibilities

Define and lead the group-wide construction strategy across multiple countries

Establish standardized policies, KPIs, and reporting frameworks to ensure consistent delivery

Lead, coach, and develop Heads of Construction, setting clear objectives and driving performance

Oversee a portfolio of large-scale projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards

Monitor key milestones and proactively resolve risks, delays, and performance issues

Drive cost control, value engineering, and efficient procurement strategies across all markets

Ensure the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance

Set and maintain technical standards, ensuring consistency and quality across all projects

Act as a key stakeholder interface with executive leadership, partners, and internal teams

Requirements

10+ years of progressive experience in project management, ideally across multiple countries.

Proven track record in leading senior construction teams and managing complex portfolios.

Strong experience with large‑scale commercial, residential, hospitality, retail, or mixed‑use projects.

Demonstrated ability to work within international, matrix organizations.

Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, contracts, and procurement models.

Outstanding leadership, coaching, and decision‑making capabilities.

Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on problem solving.

Fluent English (mandatory)

Italian strongly preferred

Additional European languages are an advantage
