Experteer Overview
As Procurement Data & Business Analyst, you will transform diverse procurement data into actionable insights to inform sourcing decisions, cost optimization, and supplier performance. You’ll collaborate with Category Managers across EU and NA to structure complex datasets, build dashboards, and support tender execution in a fast-paced, data‑imperfect environment. Your work will help drive procurement excellence and measurable savings, while contributing to Hydro’s sustainable, global footprint.

Collect, clean, structure and analyze procurement data from multiple sources (several ERP systems, supplier reports, sites databases)
Develop and maintain Excel-based tools (databases, bid sheets, assessments) to support tenders and decision‑making
Analyze supplier performance, pricing, cost structure and spend to identify savings opportunities
Contribute to supplier negotiations and strategic decisions with structured analysis
Create and maintain dashboards to track savings and category strategy implementation
Support execution of complex tenders involving cross‑functional teams across locations
Provide pragmatic, data‑driven recommendations when data is incomplete to keep projects moving forward
Maintain high standards for quality and impact in all deliverables
Responsabilità
Degree in Mathematics, Business, Economics, Engineering or similar analytical fields
Experience in Procurement, Project Management or related business role is a plus
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, data modeling, VBA Macros)
Ability to interpret large datasets in a project‑based environment and turn complexity into clear insights
Excellent communication to present insights across locations (Excel and PowerPoint)
Comfort with imperfect data and decision‑making under uncertainty while delivering results
Fluency in English; other European languages a plus
Willingness to travel up to 25%-30%
Experience with Power Query or Power BI is a plus
