Overview
In this role you will lead and support the Monza Site Projects and Programs Portfolio, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery aligned with site needs. You will mentor program management practices, collaborate with department leaders, and drive end‑to‑end project lifecycles. The PMO focuses on resource planning, budgeting, and change management to meet customer expectations. This is a chance to shape site initiatives and deliver impactful outcomes within a regulated, matrix environment.
Responsibilities
Lead the site Project & Program Portfolio management process
End-to-end management of assigned programs
Collaborate with department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects
Plan project management including deadlines, task prioritization, and resource assignment
Create and maintain process workflow documents
Act as single point of contact for project/program status
Maintain relationships with internal and external collaborators
Ensure successful implementation of solutions/changes
Analyze financial data including budgets, risks, and prioritisation
Analyze operational data (yields and KPIs) to define improvements
Provide operational and financial reports and budget outlines to Management
Coordinate development of projects/programs for efficient task completion
Draft and improve PMO policies and processes
Continuously evaluate projects to ensure adherence to standards, budgets, and deadlines
Ensure documentation accuracy for project lifecycle
Qualifications
Advanced degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of experience in complex, cross‑functional initiatives
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Technical Business, or related field
Solid knowledge of Lean principles, GMP, and pharmaceutical processes
Strong technical and computer skills
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
Excellent communication and presentation skills with stakeholders
Experience collaborating in a matrix organization without direct authority
Change management and continuous improvement experience
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a dynamic environment while focusing on objectives
Experience in regulated/GMP environments
Knowledge of ISO/FDA standards desirable
Stakeholder management and relationship‑building track record
Ability to manage project scope, schedule, budget, and risk
Minimum 6 years in industry and/or 5 years in program management/complex projects; supervisory experience advantageous
Excellent English required; additional languages a plus
