Who we are Cleaf is a 50-year-old, family-owned Italian company and a leader in the design and production of melamine‑faced panels, ABS edge bands and high‑pressure laminates for luxury furniture, supplying major international brands. The company operates 3 plants in the Lissone area (MB), employs 320 people and works on 3 shifts.We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our Quality Department Team (4 people). The role offers a structured growth path in technical expertise, methodologies and cross‑functional collaboration within a dynamic and evolving environment.Main Responsibilities The Quality Engineer will support the Quality Department in activities related to product certification, compliance, continuous improvement, laboratory testing, new product development, supplier quality and environmental/sustainability topics. The role requires curiosity, analytical thinking and problem‑solving capabilities.The Quality Department at Cleaf is responsible for the following areas, in which the new colleague will be involved:Product certifications (e.g., CE mark for construction products, FSC)Management of customer complaints and improvement actionsTechnical and legislative complianceEnvironmental, sustainability and product stewardship topicsDissemination of technical and organizational information across the company and to customersLaboratory tests and measurement system analysisProcess control and development of new productsSupplier quality managementThe role requires daily interaction with internal departments, auditors, suppliers and—when necessary—customers. Business trips may occasionally be required, on the Italian territory and internationally.RequirementsSecond-level degree in Engineering or Science (Chemistry, Materials, Management Engineering with technical background in materials/chemistry, or similar)2-5 years of experience in a Quality Department in a technical roleExperience in problem‑solving and organizational methodologiesExperience outside the wood industry is appreciatedFamiliarity with environment, safety and sustainability topics is a plusExperience with SAP or similar systems is appreciatedVery good command of MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)Regular use of email, web and videoconference toolsExcellent EnglishWe are looking for a perfect candidate if you also have:Strong logical skills, flexibility of mind and investigative curiosityNegotiation attitude, patience, common sense and conscientiousnessWhat we offer We offer inclusion in a solid, structured and international‑oriented company, with a dynamic and collaborative working environment.
