Position Overview
Business Activities Manager – European region, Naples, Italy.
Responsibilities
Plan, direct, and supervise all activities related to assigned facilities.
Interface daily with patrons to ensure customer satisfaction.
Act as liaison for the MWR Director, providing advice and recommendations.
Oversee training, administration of employees, and continuous improvement of processes.
Review and manage facility expenditures, preparing and submitting annual budgets.
Monitor budget variances, recommend adjustments, and report to MWRD.
Manage food and liquor inventories, minimizing waste and maintaining par levels.
Ensure accurate records through SAP purchase and invoice verification.
Prepare monthly reports on financial performance and program success.
Develop and present annual marketing plans and promotional campaigns.
Maintain cleanliness, sanitation standards and oversee janitorial services.
Coordinate repairs and maintenance, closing all work requests on time.
Attend advisory groups and communicate upcoming events to stakeholders.
Implement metrics and reporting for the business plan and operational goals.
Qualifications
Demonstrated knowledge of management procedures and business practices in a DOD environment.
Understanding of DOD military protocol and ability to maintain a polished demeanor.
Experience applying management principles to customer service, operations, marketing, personnel, and finance.
Skill in developing directives and procedures for facility resource utilization.
Ability to conduct surveys and audits to identify program deficiencies.
Conditions of Employment
Must complete background checks, including fingerprint and NACI.
Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
Education
A four‑year degree in business, hospitality or a related field from an accredited institution.
