Experteer Overview
In this role you will lead a consulting practice focused on CDBG-DR, working with state/local grantees to ensure HUD-regulated disaster recovery programs are compliant and impactful. You will supervise a team, shape program design, and drive business development within government services. The position offers remote or hybrid arrangements and a chance to influence large public sector programs through thoughtful policy and project execution. You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, timely outcomes that support communities rebuilding after disasters.

Supervise the team and provide career coaching, including annual evaluations
Oversee engagement scope, activities, and quality control of client deliverables
Support compliance with Universal Notice, Stafford Act, 24 CFR 570, 2 CFR 200, and related regulations
Assist clients in designing and implementing disaster recovery programs meeting eligibility and National Objective requirements
Determine methods of program implementation and design based on expertise
Draft/Evaluate grantee Action Plan Amendments for CDBG-DR compliance
Develop policies and procedures aligning with regulations and Action Plans
Contribute to strategic planning and growth by monitoring disaster recovery trends and opportunities
Participate in business development activities: conferences, thought leadership, RFP responses, and proposal submissions
Identify recovery-related gaps and recommended resource leveraging to maximize impact
May require extended hours and travel to firm offices or client sites
Responsabilità
Bachelor in Public Policy
5+ years of CDBG-DR grant management in a compliance or policy role
3+ years in a management or supervisory role
Strong policy background with 2 CFR 200 and 24 CFR 570 compliance knowledge
Experience with HUD regulations and guidance and with state/local grantees
