Internship - Materials & Planning Engineer

We are searching for an extracurricular intern to join our team. As Intern - Materials & Planning Engineer you will support the generation of Master Production Schedule (MPS), in order to meet required output with available capacity and releases job cards in line with the plan. You will learn how to manage shortages to maximize enablement and you will collaborate closely with Flow Leaders/Production Line Managers to ensure buy-in and adherence to the plan.Essential ResponsibilitiesLearn how to generate daily and weekly production scheduleSupport shortages management to maximize clear to build and on time starts/finishesLearn how to release job cards in line with MRP and action exception messagesCollaborate with Operations team to provide output commitsUse your knowledge to define daily/weekly production goals and track adherence to the planCollaborate with other teams to ensure resources are appropriately allocated and aligned to achieve the planBe a good team player and be able work with tight schedulesMonitor the integrity of job card data to ensure MRP signals are correctQualifications / RequirementsMaster’s Degree in Engineering field, preferably in Management EngineeringFluent Italian and good knowledge of EnglishKnowledge of Office toolsAbility to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutionsCurious and eager to learnStrong oral and written communication skillsWork Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is requiredDesired CharacteristicsStrong analytical and problem solving skillsAbility to handle various activities simultaneouslyPrevious experience in a similar production environment would be beneficialInclusion & DiversityAvio Aero is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and we are strongly committed to maintain an inclusive and diverse environment.
