ph3Overview /h3 pClinical Data Specialist position based in Italy (Novara) in a permanent role. Role involves supporting the management, validation, and structuring of clinical and scientific data within research projects, working with complex datasets, ensuring data quality, and contributing to standardized outputs aligned with international guidelines. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liManagement and analysis of clinical data through extraction, analysis, and manipulation of data from study data collection systems /li liDevelopment of queries and automated checks to ensure data consistency and completeness /li liData cleaning activities and continuous monitoring of dataset quality /li liSupport in the configuration and management of clinical databases and EDC systems /li liDevelopment and implementation of data validation rules and edit checks /li liManagement of database changes and support for testing and validation activities /li liStructuring and preparation of clinical datasets in accordance with CDISC standards /li liIntegration and consolidation of data from multiple sources /li liProduction of datasets ready for analysis and reporting /li liVerification of data consistency and management of discrepancies /li liSupport for database lock and data archiving activities /li liPreparation of technical documentation and metadata associated with datasets /li

/ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Biomedical disciplines, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields with a strong academic background /li liExperience in the management and processing of clinical or scientific data, preferably in clinical research or biomedical environments /li liGood knowledge of Clinical Data Management processes and applicable regulations in clinical studies /li liKnowledge of CDISC standards, particularly SDTM and ADaM, and clinical dataset structuring principles /li liExperience with SQL or similar tools for querying and manipulating databases /li liAdvanced use of Microsoft Excel for managing and analyzing large datasets /li liExperience in data validation, development of edit checks, and query management /li liFamiliarity with EDC systems and data extraction and integration processes /li liStrong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work autonomously on complex datasets /li
