Schaeffler Water Pump Bearing Italia is looking for a CAD/CAM Designer and Draftsman to join the Plant Industrial Engineering function. The selected candidate will be responsible for projects related to complex tooling, equipment, machinery, plants, or their main components. The role involves defining the optimal solutions, proportions, and dimensions through the development of overall design drawings. This includes calculating key components and defining dimensions, materials, and tolerances, as well as carrying out studies on modifications and improvements to existing designs, also in collaboration with other departments. In addition, the candidate will actively support the CAD-CAM technologies used within the plant, both technically and operationally. Your Key Responsibilities

Development and design of tools and equipment Development and design of machine parts Technical support to production and support departments Creation of item numbers for tooling Drawing management and filing Review and approval of drawings for tools and equipment Review of incoming technical documentation for tools and equipment Technical assistance and support during industrialization and setup for new product types Design and commissioning, where required, of mechanical equipment and devices for production Your Qualifications
