Operations Director – report to CEO. Responsible for managing the entire Operations structure, ensuring industrial continuity, sustainable growth, high quality and performance standards, and developing a modern managerial culture based on method, responsibility and measurement.
Responsibilities
- Overall management of Operations with a broader company perspective.
- Define and implement strategic objectives in the area, coordinate operational functions and achieve economic, financial and development goals.
- Plan short, medium and long‑term objectives.
- Supervise all company areas with a focus on Operations, especially Supply Chain.
- Ensure integrated planning between production, engineering and procurement.
- Achieve industrial, economic and profitability targets.
- Implement new processes, flows and KPIs; control industrial performance and optimize internal processes and organization.
- Develop intermediate leadership, empower managers and increase decision‑making autonomy.
- Promote a results‑oriented culture, transparent communication and inter‑functional teamwork.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering (Master and/or MBA preferred).
- 10–15 years of consolidated experience in a leadership role managing Operations (Plant and/or Supply Chain) in complex industrial and global markets.
- Experience in medium‑sized, complex organizations in global markets such as Defence/Space/Railway/Electromechanics.
- Strong experience in managing and optimizing internal Supply Chain.
