Project Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS / Cloud Functional Consultant to support a long-term enterprise transformation and application support program for a major international organization based in Milan. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to optimize and enhance Oracle E-Business Suite processes across multiple business functions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a contractor looking for a stable, long-duration engagement in a collaborative international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements from finance, procurement, supply chain, and operations stakeholders
- Configure and support Oracle E-Business Suite / Cloud modules based on business needs
- Lead functional workshops, process mapping sessions, and solution design discussions
- Prepare functional specifications for customizations, integrations, reports, and enhancements
- Coordinate with technical teams during development and testing phases
- Support SIT, UAT, and production deployments
- Provide day-to-day application support and issue resolution
- Drive process improvement initiatives and recommend best practices
- Assist with documentation, training materials, and end-user support
- Collaborate with global and local teams in a multi-country environment
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle EBS Functional Consultant
- Strong expertise in one or more Oracle EBS modules, including:
- Financials (AP, AR, GL, FA, CM)
- Procurement / Purchasing
- Order Management
- Inventory / Supply Chain
- Experience in full project lifecycle implementations and production support
- Strong knowledge of business processes and ERP best practices
- Experience writing functional specifications and managing UAT activities
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Fluent English required; Italian is a strong advantage
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in international or enterprise-scale environments
- Knowledge of Oracle integrations and reporting tools
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models
- Oracle certifications are a plus
