Project Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS / Cloud Functional Consultant to support a long-term enterprise transformation and application support program for a major international organization based in Milan. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to optimize and enhance Oracle E-Business Suite processes across multiple business functions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a contractor looking for a stable, long-duration engagement in a collaborative international environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business requirements from finance, procurement, supply chain, and operations stakeholders
  • Configure and support Oracle E-Business Suite / Cloud modules based on business needs
  • Lead functional workshops, process mapping sessions, and solution design discussions
  • Prepare functional specifications for customizations, integrations, reports, and enhancements
  • Coordinate with technical teams during development and testing phases
  • Support SIT, UAT, and production deployments
  • Provide day-to-day application support and issue resolution
  • Drive process improvement initiatives and recommend best practices
  • Assist with documentation, training materials, and end-user support
  • Collaborate with global and local teams in a multi-country environment

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle EBS Functional Consultant
  • Strong expertise in one or more Oracle EBS modules, including:
  • Financials (AP, AR, GL, FA, CM)
  • Procurement / Purchasing
  • Order Management
  • Inventory / Supply Chain
  • Experience in full project lifecycle implementations and production support
  • Strong knowledge of business processes and ERP best practices
  • Experience writing functional specifications and managing UAT activities
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Fluent English required; Italian is a strong advantage

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in international or enterprise-scale environments
  • Knowledge of Oracle integrations and reporting tools
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models
  • Oracle certifications are a plus
