Application Consultant - Campania-Puglia

Application Consultant – Permanent. The role is primarily remote, based in Southern Italy (preferred Naples or Bari), with up to 80% field work.

• Support customers throughout the entire customer journey, advancing core reagent and product sales through market intelligence.
• Provide technical application support and training for Leica Biosystems instruments within the assigned territory, ensuring maximum product uptime.
• Collaborate closely with the local Leica Biosystems team to deliver optimal customer support, draft technical documents for tenders, and contribute to sales growth and margin.
• Assume responsibility for conducting instrument demonstrations at customer laboratories and supporting the Account Manager during product promotion.
• Offer in‑field troubleshooting of application issues and diagnostic support for rudimentary hardware and software failures.
• Assist Customer Care and Tender Office by drafting technical papers and coding products for tenders within the assigned region.

• Strong communication skills: ability to present to varied audiences, conduct training classes, and support sales initiatives.
• Commercial awareness and customer‑interaction aptitude.
• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Science, or a related field.
• Fluency in Italian and English.
• Scientific background with a solid understanding of diagnostic equipment and reagents.
• Additional advantage: prior experience in anatomical pathology, multinational companies, or pathology laboratory environments.
