EGNOS Standardisation Expert

️ Oltre-CSD is looking for a GNSS / SBAS Standardisation Expert to support the standardisation activities of EGNOS, Europe's satellite-based augmentation system for aviation, in the framework of a major European GNSS programme. This is a fully remote role, open to candidates based anywhere in the EU. What you'll do Support the definition and evolution of EGNOS / SBAS standards for aviation (Safety-of-Life) Contribute to and monitor the work of EUROCAE (WG-62 / WG-105), RTCA SC-159, ICAO NSP, SBAS IWG Analyse standardisation needs and maintain the EGNOS standardisation roadmap Draft technical inputs, position papers and contributions to working groups Ensure alignment between EGNOS service evolution (V3 / DFMC) and international standards Liaise with programme stakeholders (service provider, ESA, industry) What we're looking for Degree in Aerospace, Telecommunications or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent) Proven experience in GNSS, ideally with EGNOS / SBAS Knowledge of aviation standards: ICAO SARPs, EUROCAE ED-259, RTCA DO-229, SBAS integrity concept and Safety-of-Life requirements Experience contributing to standardisation working groups (strong asset) Fluent English (working language) EU eligibility; ability to obtain an EU security clearance is a plus Comfortable working autonomously in a distributed, remote team Nice to have Familiarity with EGNOS V3 / DFMC and dual-frequency multi-constellation SBAS Exposure to aviation user needs and requirements What we offer A key role on one of Europe's flagship space programmes A fully remote, pan-European working environment Long-term involvement in a multi-year programme, with compensation commensurate with experience How to apply Send your CV to , applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. #GNSS #EGNOS #SBAS #Aviation #Standardisation #Galileo #EUSpace #Aerospace #SpaceJobs #RemoteJob #Hiring #Navigation
