Sales & Market Access Director | Generics, Biosimilars & Market Access Company Overview

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead national sales and market access strategy across Italy
  • Own the full tendering and contracting process across regional and hospital systems
  • Drive pricing, reimbursement, and negotiations with key stakeholders (AIFA, regions, hospitals)
  • Build and lead a high‑performing commercial team
  • Develop differentiated strategies across generics, biosimilars, and branded portfolio
  • Deliver revenue growth, market share expansion, and strategic milestones
  • Represent the business in industry associations and policy discussions

Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ pharmaceutical leadership experience in Italy
  • Strong expertise in market access, tendering, and contracting
  • Proven track record in generics/biosimilars or hospital channels
  • Deep understanding of AIFA, HTA, and Italian healthcare systems
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and commercial acumen
  • Experience building and scaling teams in competitive markets
