Why This Role Is Right for YouAs an AML Advisory Specialist, you'll join a collaborative and forward‑thinking team based in Milan. We work in a dynamic and stimulating environment, enabling AML compliant business solutions, keeping the internal regulatory framework up to date, elaborating internal alerts and informative emails, shaping and managing the AML training agenda, executing AML risk assessment, and contributing to periodical reporting to Corporate Bodies.
About Your Future RoleIn this position, you will support the Head of the AML Advisory Unit to:
- monitor and analyze applicable AML regulation to define impact on processes and draft internal alerts and informative emails;
- provide guidance to other departments and functions on AML regulatory requirements and interpretation, advise on risk‑based solutions to enable AML compliant business models;
- update internal regulations (e.g., AML Policy, AML Manual);
- contribute to periodical reporting to the Corporate Bodies;
- manage AML training activities according to the annual training plan, including drafting training material and tracking attendance;
- work collaboratively with other departments to enhance AML risk detection and prevention;
- support the execution of the AML Risk Assessment.
- Master's degree in economics or law (5 years of education)
- Previous experience of at least 2-3 years with financial institutions within the AML field
- Good knowledge of AML regulation and related processes
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret regulatory documents, define business requirements and support problem solving activities
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and reliability in meeting deadlines under pressure
- Team oriented with solid communication abilities
- Fluent in Italian and English (both written and spoken)
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of AML related platforms is a plus
