## Cans Mechanical Technician (Shift)Applylocations: Parmatime type: Full timeposted on: Posted 7 Days Agotime left to apply: End Date: June 30, 2026 (30+ days left to apply)job requisition id: JR101896**Job Description:**Job Summary As a Cans Mechanical Technician (Shift) at CROWN Packaging Manufacturing Italy S.r.l., you will be responsible for the mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of can manufacturing machinery to ensure continuous and efficient production during assigned shifts. Job Responsibilities \* Perform routine preventative maintenance on all mechanical components of can production lines, including presses, bodymakers, decorators, and can-making equipment. \* Diagnose and resolve mechanical breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime and production losses. \* Execute repairs, overhauls, and replacements of worn or faulty parts, such as bearings, gears, motors, pumps, and conveyors. \* Conduct equipment adjustments and calibrations to optimize performance and product quality. \* Collaborate with production operators and other technicians to identify and address recurring mechanical issues. \* Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, ensuring a safe working environment. \* Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used accurately in the maintenance management system. \* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine reliability and efficiency. \* Provide technical support and guidance to less experienced colleagues as needed. \* Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Job Qualifications \* Technical Diploma or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field. \* Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in can making or a similar high-volume production industry. \* Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission. \* Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and maintenance manuals. \* Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently and effectively. \* Experience with precision mechanical adjustments and alignment. \* Familiarity with standard maintenance tools and equipment. \* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, shift-based environment. \* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. \* Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in Italian; basic English proficiency is a plus. \* Commitment to safety and quality standards. #J-18808-Ljbffr
