Job Responsibilities \* Perform routine preventative maintenance on all mechanical components of can production lines, including presses, bodymakers, decorators, and can-making equipment. \* Diagnose and resolve mechanical breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime and production losses. \* Execute repairs, overhauls, and replacements of worn or faulty parts, such as bearings, gears, motors, pumps, and conveyors. \* Conduct equipment adjustments and calibrations to optimize performance and product quality. \* Collaborate with production operators and other technicians to identify and address recurring mechanical issues. \* Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, ensuring a safe working environment. \* Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used accurately in the maintenance management system. \* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine reliability and efficiency. \* Provide technical support and guidance to less experienced colleagues as needed. \* Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Job Qualifications \* Technical Diploma or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field. \* Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in can making or a similar high-volume production industry. \* Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission. \* Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and maintenance manuals. \* Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently and effectively. \* Experience with precision mechanical adjustments and alignment. \* Familiarity with standard maintenance tools and equipment. \* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, shift-based environment. \* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. \* Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in Italian; basic English proficiency is a plus. \* Commitment to safety and quality standards. #J-18808-Ljbffr
