Construction Director – Econergy Renewable Energy Ltd.
Location: Pavia, Lombardia, IT
We are a fast‑growing global company developing, owning and operating utility‑scale renewable energy projects across Europe. As a Construction Director, you will lead and oversee construction activities across multiple countries, ensuring delivery excellence, cost efficiency, safety and quality.
Responsibilities
Define and lead the group‑wide construction strategy across multiple countries.
Establish standardized policies, KPIs and reporting frameworks to ensure consistent delivery.
Lead, coach and develop Heads of Construction, setting clear objectives and driving performance.
Oversee an international portfolio of large‑scale projects, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery to quality standards.
Monitor key milestones and proactively resolve risks, delays and performance issues.
Drive cost control, value engineering and efficient procurement strategies across all markets.
Ensure the highest standards of health, safety and environmental (HSE) compliance.
Set and maintain technical standards, ensuring consistency and quality across all projects.
Act as key stakeholder interface with executive leadership, partners and internal teams.
Requirements
10+ years of progressive experience in project management, ideally across multiple countries.
Proven track record in leading senior construction teams and managing complex portfolios.
Strong experience with large‑scale commercial, residential, hospitality, retail or mixed‑use projects.
Demonstrated ability to work within international, matrix organisations.
Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, contracts and procurement models.
Outstanding leadership, coaching and decision‑making capabilities.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on problem solving.
Fluent English (mandatory).
Italian strongly preferred.
Additional European languages are an advantage.
