Investor Relations Manager (IRM) – China
Strategic Capital Development & Investment Partnerships – Asia
- Full-time position
- Hybrid work model (based in China with travel to Milan, Boston, and Riyadh)
- Travel and meeting expenses will be reimbursed upon approval
- An NDA must be signed
This position may evolve into Regional Director – China / Asia or Head of Strategic Investments – Asia, depending on performance and ability to secure high‑value investment partnerships.
About the Role
Institute Itech is seeking a senior Investor Relations Manager based in China to lead the development of high-level investment relationships and strategic partnerships within the Chinese market.
The role focuses on identifying and engaging qualified investors, including corporate and industrial groups, family offices, high-net-worth individuals, venture capital and private equity funds, as well as state-linked and institutional investment entities.
The selected candidate must be capable of originating, structuring and supporting investment opportunities in the €10M – €100M+ range, while contributing to the creation of long‑term partnerships aligned with Institute Itech’s innovation roadmap, technological development priorities and international growth strategy.
Responsibilities Investment Development
- Identify and engage potential investors across China’s financial and industrial ecosystem
- Develop relationships with corporate groups, investment firms, and institutional entities
- Present Institute Itech’s projects and investment opportunities
Strategic Partnerships
- Structure long‑term investment relationships and collaborations
- Support negotiations and deal structuring
- Facilitate alignment between investors and Institute Itech’s strategic objectives
Market & Investment Intelligence
- Analyse the Chinese investment landscape and identify relevant opportunities
- Provide insights on market trends, investor expectations, and partnership strategies
- Support positioning of Institute Itech within the Chinese innovation ecosystem
International Coordination
- Connect Chinese investors with Institute Itech’s global operations
- Coordinate meetings and collaborations between Asia, Europe, and the Middle East
- Support cross-border investment initiatives
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years experience in investor relations, business development, venture capital, or private equity
- Strong network within China’s investment and industrial ecosystem
- Proven ability to engage and build relationships with investors
- Fluent English (mandatory)
- Fluent Mandarin Chinese (mandatory)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to operate autonomously in a high-level international environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with corporate innovation groups, industrial conglomerates, investment funds or state-linked entities
- Background in technology, energy, AI, or environmental sectors
- Experience with cross-border investments
- Proven track record in capital raising or deal facilitation

Compensation
Annual Gross Salary: €60,000 – €74,000, depending on experience and network strength.
Additional performance-based incentives may be provided based on successfully secured investments.
