Secondary & External Production Planner

The resource will be responsible for management of external processing activities, coordinating operations with suppliers and the relevant internal departments to ensure compliance with production schedules, service level targets, and stock objectives.Main activitiesPlan and coordinate production activities with external manufacturing suppliers, ensuring the right balance between service levels, product availability, inventory levels, and costsMonitor production plan execution, proactively managing any issues related to production capacity, material availability, and continuity of supplyCollaborate closely with key internal functions—including Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Quality, Production, and Customer Service to ensure alignment of production plans and the effective resolution of operational issuesSupport the introduction of new products, product changes, and initiatives aimed at ensuring continuity of supplyCoordinate external suppliers on an operational level, ensuring compliance with production schedules and delivery commitmentsMonitor operational performance and contribute to the identification of continuous improvement opportunitiesParticipate in Supply Chain transformation projects, including the implementation of new planning and scheduling processes and toolsSkillsAt least 2 years of experience in Supply Chain field in manufacturing companies, preferably in roles related to Production Planning, Supply Planning, or External Manufacturing Planning.The knowledge of planning processes and coordination of external suppliers and contract manufacturers will be considered as a plusKnowledge of production planning and Supply Chain processes, ERP systems, and Microsoft ExcelKnowledge of APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling) tools and production planning and scheduling softwareLocationParmaAbout usFounded in 1825, Bormioli Pharma has been a leading manufacturer of primary packaging for the pharmaceutical industry, offering complete solutions ranging from glass and plastic bottles to plastic and aluminum closures and accessories.
