At Renewable Energy Company (RECO), we are looking for a

Plant Supervisor

to join our Global Monitoring Center (GMC). In this role, you will be responsible for the real-time monitoring and first-level control of our PV plants, ensuring fast issue detection, efficient troubleshooting, and coordination of corrective actions to maximize plant availability and performance.

You will report to the Head of GMC and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders in a dynamic and international environment.

Your role

As a Plant Supervisor, you will ensure continuous monitoring and operational control of PV plants, supporting the management of alarms, incidents, and work orders. You will act as a key operational link between central monitoring and field execution, contributing to minimizing downtime and production losses.

Your primary responsibilities Perform continuous real-time monitoring of PV plant performance, status, alarms, and errors through SCADA and other monitoring systems Evaluate performance deviations and KPIs, identifying potential issues proactively Manage alarms, tickets, and work orders, ensuring proper prioritization, documentation, and tracking Execute first-level remote troubleshooting, including safe reset/reconnection of plants or inverters where applicable Execute remote operational actions (e.g. switching off orders during negative pricing scenarios) in line with defined procedures Coordinate with Field Specialists and external maintenance providers to ensure timely resolution of incidents Follow up on corrective actions, ensuring proper closure of tickets with complete documentation and evidence Escalate complex or unresolved issues to Plant Managers, providing full technical context and documentation Monitor and optimize alarm configurations, identifying false or missing alarms in alignment with GMCT guidelines Monitor automated processes (e.g. curtailment), resolving deviations or escalating when necessary Ensure data quality and completeness within the Operations Platform, reporting inconsistencies and supporting system improvements Analyze performance trends and collaborate with Engineering and Plant Managers to support technical optimization initiatives Apply continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. PDCA) to identify recurring issues and enhance tools, dashboards, and processes Propose improvements to systems, procedures, and platform functionalities to increase operational efficiency

Who are you? We imagine that you are a proactive and detail-oriented professional with experience in monitoring, operations, or technical asset environments. You are comfortable working in real-time operational settings and enjoy solving problems efficiently while collaborating across teams.

In addition, you bring:

Technical or engineering background (energy, electrical, or related fields preferred) Experience with SCADA or monitoring systems (preferably in renewable energy or utilities) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Good communication and coordination skills High attention to detail and data accuracy Ability to work both independently and as part of an international team Fluency in Italian and English Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
