This is a remote, flexible opportunity ideal for physicians who want to supplement their income on their own schedule. No AI experience and no studio required - just your clinical knowledge, a phone or laptop, and a reasonably quiet space.

What you'll record

Doctor–patient consultations (2 voices): simulated visits - history-taking, explaining a diagnosis, discussing treatment options, answering patient questions. Chart narrations (1 voice): a clinician describing or dictating a patient chart or case summary. You invent the clinical scenarios and charts yourself. Everything must be 100% fictional - never use, reference, or adapt real patient information. No real names, dates of birth, record numbers, or any identifying details of real people, ever. Stick to general, everyday medical dialogue - the routine of real clinical practice.

How it should sound

Natural and improvised, not read. Speak the way you actually talk with patients and colleagues. If it sounds spontaneous rather than scripted, you’re doing it right. Interruptions and overlap are welcome. In two-voice recordings, backchanneling (“mm-hm,” “right,” “I see”), brief interruptions, and people talking over each other are encouraged - that’s how real conversations work. Real-world audio is fine. We’re not after studio quality. A normal room with everyday background sound is acceptable; clear, intelligible speech is what matters.

Paid sample & how to start

Every accepted applicant starts with a paid ~15-minute sample recorded on our platform:

US$50 for a single-voice sample (chart narration), ~15 minutes. US$100 for a two-person sample (doctor–patient or doctor–doctor), ~15 minutes. Around 15 minutes total is all we need - one recording or a couple of shorter ones that add up.

Sample payment is conditional on meeting the agreed quality standards (intelligible audio, correct grammar, clinical realism). Recording instructions and platform access are provided once you apply. Payments via Wire transfer, PayPal, AirTM, ARQ, or MercadoPago.

After the sample

Once your sample is approved by the client, we'll discuss ongoing volume and rates. We expect a medium to high volume of recorded hours per month per contributor. Ongoing work is paid per approved recorded hour, inclusive of preparation time (inventing scenarios, setting up, retakes).

You are a great fit if you

Hold a medical degree with hands-on clinical experience. For two-voice recordings, one participant must be a medical professional and one can simulate being a patient Speak English with flawless grammar - accents are completely welcome; grammatical accuracy is non-negotiable. Are bilingual? Great - we run this project in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Dutch. You can record in more than one language, as long as your grammar is native-level in each. Can realistically improvise clinical dialogue - the way you actually speak with patients and colleagues. Can follow simple technical instructions (we provide the recording platform and setup guide) - a phone or laptop is enough. Are reliable, detail-oriented, and available to start soon.
