Job Summary
The WL Operator Intern supports the process of ensuring wireline equipment is delivered on time and according to operational demands, and proposes ideas for increasing the utilization and efficiency of assets. The person identifies opportunities to improve service delivery, and assists field and maintenance crews with preparing equipment for operations.
Responsibilities
Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time on wellsite (land and offshore).
Participate in pre-job and toolbox meetings with crew members.
Maintain good, safe working order of equipment according to standards, reporting problems or deviations.
Prepare equipment for rig up and rig down times.
Operate the equipment according to competency level and job requirement.
Ensure individual and crew work safety.
Maintain the required safety training. Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
Hands on work.
Work in the field.
Flexibility to cover operations at night and to travel.
Requirements
High School or Equivalent.
Ability to think methodically.
Ability to work well under pressure and without supervision.
Flexibility to work abroad.
Experience in Wireline would be considered as a plus.
C/D Driving License would be considered as a plus.
