COMMODITY MANAGER ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS The Commodity Manager is responsible for defining and developing the procurement strategy for a group of commodities.

In this role, you will be accountable for managing the commercial relationships with suppliers and collaborating with internal stakeholders, with the objective of minimizing the total cost of ownership and maximizing the quality and the reliability of the supply chain.

What You’ll Be Doing

Develop and execute sourcing strategies for Tier 2 electronic components based on market dynamics and technology trends

Build strong relationships with component manufacturers and distributors to secure supply continuity and access to innovation

Negotiate agreements balancing cost, quality, and long-term availability

Monitor electronic component market trends (e.g., lead times, allocation risks, obsolescence) and proactively adapt sourcing strategies

Collaborate with R&D and engineering to influence component selection and design choices

Manage lifecycle risks, including obsolescence and end-of-life strategies

Drive supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, and sustainability metrics

Work cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, and Finance teams

Deliver on key KPIs (cost savings, NOWC, PPM, supplier consolidation, contract coverage)

Act as the interface with internal electronics manufacturing site to align sourcing with production needs

What’s Needed For You To Thrive

Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering, in addition Business Administration is a plus.

Minimum 3 years of experience procurement and purchasing within a global organization, mainly in Electrical/Electronic Commodities

Experiences in adjacent disciplines such as Electronic Engineering/Design, Supply Chain, R&D are also welcomed.

Proficiency in Microsoft office.

Ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment

Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills

Ability to make important decisions and cope with the pressure of demanding targets and tight deadlines

Willing to travel

Fluent in English; Knowledge of other language (specifically French) is considered an advantage
