Commodity Manager – New Product Introduction

By joining the Electrolux Professional team, you will drive and execute purchasing activities in cross‑functional product projects, focusing on cost, time, and quality to deliver profitable products and recommend innovations that improve quality.

The role requires an interest in market dynamics, competitor behavior, negotiation and pricing, manufacturing processes, and risk mitigation.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Manage supplier relations across all direct categories related to projects.
  • Participate in applicable cross‑functional project teams.
  • Execute major resourcing aligned with Global Commodity strategy.
  • Partner with R&D to develop efficient purchasing approaches.
  • Develop and maintain a project sourcing plan aligned with Strategy and Targets, compile prerequisites and ensure timely hand‑over to the sourcing plant buyer.
  • Handle cost modelling to reach cost KPI targets for product competitiveness.
  • Ensure supplier readiness for production.
  • Negotiate NDAs, MPAs and other contracts.
  • Enhance and lead supplier‑driven innovation and promote it within Electrolux.
What’s Needed to Thrive
  • University degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–4 years of purchasing experience within a multinational environment.
  • Experience in logistics, manufacturing, or R&D is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
  • Fluent English; additional languages are an asset.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Results‑driven and autonomous, with strong decision‑making abilities.
  • Comfortable working under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and demanding targets.
  • Team‑oriented, open‑minded, creative, willing to take on new challenges.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
