About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join our Engineering & Projects team. The successful candidate will support the execution of EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) projects within the Oil & Gas industry, ensuring effective coordination among engineering disciplines, procurement, construction, and project management throughout the project lifecycle.
This role requires strong technical knowledge, organizational skills, and the ability to manage interfaces across multiple stakeholders while ensuring compliance with project requirements, quality standards, budget, and schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate engineering activities throughout all project phases, from FEED to detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up.
- Act as the primary engineering interface between Project Management, Engineering disciplines, Procurement, Construction, Clients, and Vendors.
- Monitor engineering progress against project schedules and identify potential risks or delays.
- Ensure technical deliverables are completed on time and in accordance with contractual requirements and applicable international standards.
- Support the preparation and review of project documentation, including technical specifications, engineering deliverables, material requisitions, and technical bid evaluations.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary design reviews and resolve technical issues arising during project execution.
- Support procurement activities by reviewing vendor documentation and ensuring technical compliance.
- Collaborate with construction and commissioning teams to facilitate successful project execution and handover.
- Participate in project meetings with Clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Assist the Project Manager in monitoring project progress, reporting KPIs, managing risks, and implementing corrective actions.
- Promote compliance with HSE, Quality, and company procedures throughout project execution.
