For a structured restaurant and bar venue offering lunch, dinner, bar service and events, we are seeking an experienced Restaurant & Bar Operations Manager / Head of Floor, reporting directly to the Ownership.

The role is operational and organizational in nature, with responsibility for the day-to-day management of the venue, ensuring service continuity, compliance with standards and effective team coordination.


Key Responsibilities
Staff Scheduling & Daily Operations


  • Update staff rota and manage shift scheduling, with final verification of worked hours
  • Cover absences, manage shift changes and lead daily team briefings
  • Supervise lunch, dinner and bar service
  • Oversee breakfast operations at an organizational level, including staff management, scheduling and general supervision (not directly operational on service)


Operations & Financial Control


  • Manage restaurant opening and closing procedures
  • Oversee cash handling and related reporting
  • Place orders with suppliers, verify invoices and monitor operational costs
  • Conduct monthly inventories and periodic stock checks


Reservations & Coordination


  • Coordinate with hotel reception for guest reservations
  • Manage reservations through dedicated platforms (e.G. SuperB)
  • Liaise with event managers for the planning and execution of events


Team Management


  • Organize team operations, holidays and staffing coverage
  • Train staff and ensure operational procedures are consistently applied
  • Support recruitment activities, including CV screening, interviews and onboarding


Standards & Facility Management


  • Update and maintain restaurant and bar checklists

  • Monitor service quality standards and mise en place
  • Manage staff uniforms
  • Oversee the condition of the venue and report maintenance or repair needs


Ideal Profile


  • Proven experience in operational management within restaurants, bars or hospitality venues
  • Strong organizational and people management skills
  • Hands‑on approach, reliability and attention to detail
  • Experience working in entrepreneurial environments with direct ownership interaction
  • Strong focus on service quality and guest experience
