Experteer Overview
In this role you will define client solutions within the sales process, assemble lean quotations, and ensure accurate cost calculations. You will act as the main technical interface, support RFQ definitions, and present tailored, value-driven solutions combining equipment, software, and services. You will lead cross-functional proposal teams, manage timelines, and maintain proposal data in Salesforce to enable smooth handovers to operations. This position supports AVL’s mission of sustainable mobility by delivering technically sound, competitive proposals.

- Collaborate with KAM, GAM and SEs to drive opportunities and meet targets
- Provide market feedback to inform business strategy
- Act as main technical interface for customers, supporting RFQ definition and requirement analysis
- Propose, present, and adapt tailored solutions highlighting value and USPs
- Develop and deliver technical presentations at customer locations
- Create accurate, competitive solution proposals combining equipment, software, and services
- Ensure technical and cost correctness of quotations
- Take ownership of proposals and coordinate cross-functional proposal teams
- Develop and manage proposal timelines aligned with sales and operations
- Prepare technical proposals with risk analysis and acceptance criteria
- Develop solution concepts including technical documentation and Tabletop Drawings (TTD)
- Maintain and track proposal data in Salesforce (status, versions, timelines)
- Ensure proper handover of information to operations
- Involve project management early and apply requirement engineering best practices
Responsabilità
- Degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in proposal or solution engineering
- Proficiency in English (good to advanced level)
- Willingness to travel
