You will partner with WHS/GMH teams and local authorities to shape health programs that protect employees and drive health outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to influence health policy localization and cross-functional initiatives across Italy, aligning with Amazon’s global standards.

  • Provide strategic direction for Occupational Health services across Italy and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Act as subject matter expert on Occupational Health, guiding internal stakeholders and liaising with authorities
  • Monitor and report health metrics to GMH leadership to inform regional/global strategies
  • Identify and mitigate workplace health risks, including physical and psychosocial factors
  • Oversee first aid and emergency response services and standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and health professionals to localize health policies
  • Lead preventive health management programs and program effectiveness assessments
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation affecting workplace health and ensure policy alignment

Responsabilità

  • Physician with specialization in Occupational Health and Italy-registered healthcare professional
  • Clinical experience with Italy OH legislation and requirements
  • Experience leading Occupational Health services
  • Injury/illness prevention expertise (ergonomics, psychosocial, environmental, industrial hygiene)
  • Experience managing first aid and emergency response
  • Strong written and spoken communication, leadership, and analytical skills
  • Data-literate with project/program mindset
  • English verbal/written communication
