Context:
We are looking for an
Account Manager Mid Market
based in Italy to manage and develop a portfolio of the most important clients in a
SaaS / Cloud environment . This is a post‑sales role with strong responsibility for customer relationship management, business growth, and long-term value creation.
The position requires regular travel across the EU.
Key Responsibilities:
The Account Manager will act as the main point of contact for assigned clients and work closely with internal teams to ensure customer success and commercial growth:
Build and maintain trusted relationships with a portfolio of key clients
Develop a deep understanding of customers’ objectives, organizational structure, and stakeholders, identifying and influencing key decision makers
Manage day-to-day communications between clients and internal teams, ensuring commitments and deadlines are met
Identify and develop upsell and cross-sell opportunities with existing customers and their subsidiaries
Drive sales strategies and negotiate contracts, defining performance objectives and timelines
Handle client issues and escalations, ensuring continuity, satisfaction, and trust
Present the company’s solutions at external events such as conferences, seminars, and customer meetings
Develop relationships with partners and external companies to create sales synergies
Ensure accurate and timely reporting in the CRM, including weekly updates, forecasts, and key account metrics
Prepare and deliver follow-up reports to internal and external stakeholders
Collaborate closely with Support, Product, and Professional Services teams to ensure the best customer experience
Key skills and requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience selling software in a Web / SaaS / Cloud environment, with a solid understanding of subscription-based and recurring revenue models
Ideally experienced in one or more of the following sectors: Chemical, Cosmetics, Food Products, or Product Label / MDD
Deep knowledge of structured sales methodologies (e.g. Solution Selling, SPIN, Miller Heiman, or equivalent)
Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and manage time efficiently
Proactive, autonomous, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment
Strong goal orientation and team spirit
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric mindset
Professional working proficiency in Italian language.
Proficient in English, both in written and verbal communication.
