Aftermarket Guardian / Planner – Cutting & Welding Automation

About the Role
As an Aftermarket Guardian / Planner, you will become the trusted advisor for our installed customer base, supporting the complete lifecycle of ESAB cutting and welding automation equipment. Working closely with our Service Managers, Field Service Engineers, Sales, and Aftermarket teams, you'll identify customer needs, promote service solutions, coordinate service activities, and drive aftermarket business growth. Your mission is to maximize customer satisfaction while creating new commercial opportunities throughout the machine lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and service partners
Become the primary commercial contact for customers regarding aftermarket services
Promote ESAB service contracts, spare parts, wear parts, upgrades, and retrofit solutions
Identify new business opportunities and generate qualified leads for Sales
Coordinate and schedule Field Service Engineers and external service partners
Prepare and follow up service quotations until purchase order
Support Life Cycle Management activities by engaging customers throughout the lifetime of their equipment
Monitor machine obsolescence and proactively recommend upgrade solutions
Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer experience
Maintain accurate CRM data, service planning, and revenue forecasts
Contribute to achieving aftermarket KPIs and business objectives
Actively collect market intelligence and customer feedback
Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years in Customer Service, Aftermarket, Service Coordination, Technical Support or a customer‑facing commercial role
Experience in industrial equipment, manufacturing, welding, cutting, automation or capital goods is an advantage
Experience in customer relationship management and aftermarket sales
Experience working with CRM and ERP systems
Requirements
Fluent English (B2 or higher) + Italian language knowledge
Good knowledge of MS Office applications
Experience with Service Management software and CRM systems is an advantage
Driving licence (Category B)
Willingness to travel occasionally within the region
